About Thurcroft Welfare Community Hall
Thurcroft Welfare Community Hall has been at the heart of the local community for over 100 years. Originally established to provide a shared space for miners and their families, it has grown into a welcoming venue used by residents, community groups and visitors from across the area.
Today, the hall continues to serve as a flexible and affordable space for events, meetings, celebrations and more. With a large main hall, kitchen facilities, disabled access, and free parking, it’s well-equipped for a wide range of uses, from birthday parties and fitness classes to community projects and charity fundraisers.
As a charitable organisation, the hall is run by local trustees and volunteers who are passionate about keeping the space active and accessible for all. Every booking helps support the future of this important community hub.
